John Adams Academy breaks ground on new arts and athletics building

John Adams Academy charter school celebrated Monday with a groundbreaking ceremony for a new performing arts and athletics building, to be known as the “Jefferson Building.”

According to a news release, John Adams Academy, a free charter public school in Roseville serving grades TK through 12, names each of its buildings to honor the Founding Fathers. Thomas Jefferson was selected as the founding father to honor as he was known for being a renaissance man with multiple interests and talents. The Jefferson Building joins a campus with other buildings named for John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison and George Washington.
