The Business Journal is profiling the honorees for its 2025 Best Real Estate Projects awards. Broadstone Villas is the honoree in the Suburban Multifamily category.
Helping fuel Folsom’s booming growth and expansion, Broadstone Villas is one of the area’s newest residential developments.
The project features 257 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and townhomes, with hardwood flooring, private patios or balconies, and garages. Community amenities include a fitness center, clubhouse, pool, outdoor kitchens, and dog parks.
Located near Folsom Lake College and several popular dining and retail destinations, Broadstone Villas is the first phase of the expansive Broadstone Crossing mixed-use development.
The project’s 33 three-story residential buildings are situated on about 17 acres. Elliott Homes Inc. is the developer. The Folsom-based company has built more than 25,000 single-family homes throughout California and Arizona, according to the company website. Elliot Homes also develops commercial, retail, and office centers, including Palladio at Broadstone in Folsom.
Brandon Schroer is vice president and chief financial officer at Sacramento-based DesCor Builders, the project’s contractor. Schroer said he’s worked on multiple projects with Elliott Homes, and Broadstone Villas stands out as one of Folsom’s more notable large-scale luxury developments, with wood-framed buildings organized along a pedestrian boulevard.
“It’s truly a unique project that stands out in a highly competitive market,” he said.
